Subud Youth YES Quest - Time Running out to register
Posted by HamiltonManley
Monday, May 22, 2006
A message from Peter Jenkins:

Hi Eveyone,

There are around 20 potential participants for this Quest, but to date only a few have actually confirmed their attendance.

YES Quest is for 17 to 30ish ages, though previous Quests have had a mature 16 year old or two, which worked fine.

The dates: Facilitators in training will arrive on July 22nd, with the program ending on Aug 4th. Participants will arrive July 23, program ending on Aug 3rd. The time has now come to set a deadline for decisions, and that deadline will be Saturday May 27th. Deposit will need to be paid direct to Seven Circles within the following seven days. So, if you intend coming, we absolutely need to know by that date. (Also please let us know if you can't come)

Please bear in mind that as a result of a grant from MSF (and earmarked assistance from Subud California - Lusijah), the cost has been reduced by US$600 from $1506 to $906.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

With best regards, Peter

Hello All

Wow, what a great time for wings activity and especially to  create some enthusiasm and excitement about Subud youth activities in the world. Here is an update of Rhyana and my recent meeting with our fellow Wing Coordinators on the World Subud Council. This was a first opportunity to get to know one another properly after World Congress in Innsbruck, and to share ideas and visions for potential joint wings projects and initiatives.

Subud Youth Bucelas Camp Summer 2006
Posted by celia
Wednesday, April 19, 2006

Hello everyone!

Subud Youth Portugal are organising a really nice holiday at Bucelas. It's not a working camp, but it's also not just a "doing nothing" camp... It's a Community Summer time get-together at Bucelas and it's going to take place from the 10th to the 20th August.   Bucelas is a piece of land, with approximately 10 hectares, owned by Subud located 20kms north of Lisbon. It has several buildings: the Albergaria, the Stone House, the Youth Hostel with a bull ring near by, the Latihan Hall and three wooden chalets.

The main aims for this event are to get together and raise funds to rebuild the youth hostel. This building belongs to the Portuguese Subud Youth and we need money to improve it, so we can organize other camps and gatherings. All of you who would enjoy spending your holidays close to nature, going to the beach, getting to know the culture of , living as part of a Community in the beautiful farm of Bucelas are more than welcome.  It will be 10 days of meeting new people, new places and HAVING FUN!  More information will be sent out as soon as possible. At this moment we are still working on the programme, so if anyone has a good idea for a workshop, outdoor activities, etc, you can contact me at: ineseco@gmail.com

Love to all from the Portuguese Youth Team
